The Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set to launch new product in late November

What does the ASC-WDS do?

At Access Skills, we encourage our employer clients to sign up with the Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS) to help care providers run their business and manage their staff training needs. It can also provide access to the Workforce Development Fund, a valuable source of funding for staff training. Our employer clients use this funding to claim back on diploma fees, access completely funded induction training, and access apprenticeship-specific funding.

What are the benefits of having an ASC-WDS account?

As well as being able to access the Workforce Development Fund for training and qualifications for your staff, the ASC-WDS service can support you as a manager in many ways.

  • The system allows you to store and access key information about your staff in one place
  • You can record your training and qualifications data for each of your employees, and the system will alert you as to when training is close to its expiry date
  • The system also has data on other businesses within the sector, allowing you to see benchmarks on how your business is performing compared to others
  • You can access intelligence from decision makers within the sector – such as the Government, the Department for Health and Social Care and CQC

How do you apply for an ASC-WDS account?

What is the new ASC-WDS product launch?

Soon you’ll be able to use your ASC-WDS account to access even more great offers. From late November, new and existing users will gain special offers and discounts across a range of Skills for Care’s products. This exclusive new opportunity will be unveiled during the ASC-WDS product launch week from 22-26 November. The week will celebrate the service with an informative webinar to explore how it can help users and a demonstration of ASC-WDS.

As part of the launch, the ASC-WDS will be hosting a webinar which will focus on all the benefits of their system and how it can help you and your organisation. They will also be running a live demo event where you can see what the service actually looks like.

Find out more about the ASC-WDS event online. To discuss how you can access this funding with one of our funded diplomas, contact us today on 0121 510 2169 (option 1), or enquire with us through our diplomas section of the website.
