Course Structure:
The qualification consists of mandatory and optional units, structured as follows:
- CMI Level 3 Award in First Line Management and Leadership: Requires at least one unit, totaling 50 TQT hours.
- CMI Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management and Leadership: Requires at least two units, totaling 130 TQT hours.
Entry Requirements:
- Open to learners aged 16 and above.
- No specific formal entry requirements set by CMI, but learners must have the capability to meet the learning and assessment demands.

The total qualification time (TQT) varies depending on the qualification type:
- Award – Requires a minimum of 70 (TQT) total qualification time to complete a minimum of at least one unit.

Course Structure
The qualification consists of core and optional units, divided into two groups:
Progression Opportunities
- Progress to other Level 7 qualifications.
- Apply for Chartered Manager (CMgr) status.

- Pursue further studies in Higher Education (MBA or similar).
Assessment
- Assignments are graded on a Pass/Refer basis.
