As a Skills for Care Quality-Assured Provider, Access Skills delivers a comprehensive range of Adult and Children & Young People’s social care qualifications and training courses designed for employers and professionals in the sector. Our programmes range from short one-hour sessions to extensive qualifications lasting under two years, with many eligible for government funding.
Our knowledgeable advisors are dedicated to providing you with valuable information, advice and guidance to help you choose the most appropriate training pathway that best aligns with your development and career goals. Whether you’re looking to complete the Care Certificate for induction or aiming for advanced leadership and management qualifications, we’ll assist you in identifying the right programme and any available funding options.
Funding options, such as the Advanced Learner Loan and the Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS), can make accessing training more affordable. Visit our Funding Page for more details on eligibility and how to apply.
We provide flexible funding options to make training accessible for both individuals and employers. Affordable instalment plans are also available to help spread the cost when paying in full.
Advanced Learner Loan: Available to individuals aged 19 and over, this loan helps cover course fees for approved qualifications, including our Level 5 Diplomas. The loan is not income-dependent, does not require credit checks, and repayments only start once your income exceeds £27,295 per year.
Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS): Designed for employers in adult social care, this scheme supports the training of non-regulated care staff, including deputy and CQC-registered managers. Eligible employers in England can claim reimbursement for training costs incurred between 1st April 2025 and 31st March 2026, making it easier to invest in staff development.
