Operational Management

This qualification is aimed at practising or aspiring managers and leaders such as; Operational Manager, Departmental or Division Manager who are typically accountable to a senior manager or business owner.

By studying the Level 5 Award the qualification will provide you with the tools, support and guidance to overcome management challenges in any industry or sector. You will gain transferable skills that you can apply to any management role.

Upon successful completion of the qualification, learners are able to progress to further learning within the suite of Level 5 Qualifications in Management and Leadership – i.e., completing a Certificate followed by a Diploma.

Learners may progress to job roles such as; Regional Manager, Specialist Manager or Operations Manager.

The primary role of a practising or aspiring manager and leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams, enabling them to deliver aims and objectives in line with organisational strategy.

By studying the level 5 Certificate it will compliment your existing management experience, enhancing your managerial and business skills and enabling you to approach your managerial tasks with confidence. It will also give you the key skills and competencies you need to become an effective middle manager.

Upon successful completion of the qualification, learners are able to progress to further learning within the suite of Level 5 Qualifications in Management and Leadership i.e., completing a Diploma.

Learners may also wish to further their ongoing personal and professional development by accessing other CMI qualifications, such as the CMI Level 6 Qualifications in Management and Leadership with the goal of becoming a Chartered Manager.
